My recovery system will consist of R14 Rocketman Parachute and 1" tubular Nylon connected with 5/16" Quick Links. I will have 50 ft of 1" Tubular Nylon separating the booster section and the payload section. A Rocketman Ballistic drouge chute will be deployed at apogee. A 25 ft section will separate the payload section and the nose cone. The R14 Rocketman parachute is Rated for a 20-40 LB rocket. My Rocket weight loaded is 44lbs. This chute will deploy at 800ft and should be more than adequate to bring my rocket down safely. Sorry no photo's here. I figured you all could visualize Tubular Nylon and a Rocketman chute. |
