COUPLERS

Kevlar is cut to line the couplers. Stop Fray and a Lenox Gold blade makes cutting Kevlar
a breeze and leaves a clean edge to work with.

Coupler sections are cut to length and the Kevlar is epoxyed inside. Balloons press
the Kevlar tight against the coupler walls. The electronics' bay/coupler also received
four layers of 8.9 oz glass applied in the same manner. 

The booster section coupler is 28" long and is lined with 15 centering rings. The motor
fills and supports all but two inches of it.

Booster coupler is epoxied into the mid section. 1/4-20 threaded inserts are installed.

The fin and midsection are bolted together.
